Tubing and Assemblies
Tubing is an extruded, round shape made from rubber, plastic, or metal. 聽It is usually non-reinforced, but can be obtained with fabric or wire reinforcement for added strength and/or to prevent kinking during a bend. 聽Tubing differs from hose in that hose contains a tube, reinforcement for burst pressure, and an outside cover.
There are hundreds of materials and formulations available to suit your specific application. 聽In general, our tubing is either plastic or rubber based. 聽Plastic tubes are made from PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, FEP, PFA, and nylon. 聽Our rubber tubes are made from neoprene, latex, thermoplastic, polyurethane, natural gum rubber, silicone, and fluorocarbon.
