All Certification Pathways through CLC require a minimum of 6 semesters of successful completion of REL 200 (CLC Colloquium) + three semesters of specific coursework and/or internship hours as outlined below:
** First Year CLC students will engage in Vocational Discernment sessions with Debbie Bury, Director of Career Development and Internships.
For students who want an emphasis on multi-faith religious studies and community building. This certification area prepares students to be global citizens in an increasingly diverse world.

Required: REL 204 – Intro to World Religions + 2 electives

For students planning to attend seminary or other related graduate programs, as further preparation in a ministry-related field.

For those who intend to enter a professional non-ordained lay ministry in the local church or a career teaching in religious affiliated schools. This specialization has broad potential including: Christian Education of Children, Youth Ministries, and Young Adult and General Christian Education.

For students who wish to lead a non-profit organization, whether that be faith-based, social justice or community-based non-profits. Students pursuing this specialization will choose from service hours within non-profits plus academic courses in business management and volunteer leadership.
